Due to state budget cuts FAU is looking for ways to to reduce spending. With a sagging state economy many of the unversities funding for scholarships, summer classes, and distance courses may suffer.

FAU student Steve Rivera a multimedia jounalism major, has been doing his part by having students sign a petition in hopes of getting the student voice heard.
